That is the secret, and yet its the hardest thing to do which is why so many cannot achieve the physique it takes to win shows.
Achieving a physique worth winning takes dedication, discipline, the need to hit personal best in the gym, actually experience pain in the gym, eat the same thing everyday for weeks at time, sometimes months.
This is the secret! Quit trying the easy way out. You know the one that everyone is doing that turns out to be a fad after a short period of time.
With winning comes suffering!

EAT BIG. LIFT BIG. BE BIG.
That was always the mentality.
But competition prep taught me something else, getting big is only part of bodybuilding. Bringing it all together on show day is where coaching matters.

Not gonna lie, due to alot of things going on this year, i have been dragging as a GBO Promoter, GBO Director, and now acting GBO CEO.
Then while sitting on a plane waiting to land I pulled this video up and it fired me right up and motivated me more than ever before. Let's do this October 10th the biggest show in Southeast Texas is back baby!!!!

Old school bodybuilding. The hoodies came out day one of the prep diet. We didn't want anyone to see what we looked like.
Just in case someone else in the gym was doing the show we didn't want them to see till backstage pumping up.
It was also a deterant to try to lower the random questions or chit chat that may come up form other employees during the workout. Not to be rude but to focus on the task at hand.

They don't see the early mornings, the missed events, the strict meal plans, the workouts when motivation was gone, or the countless choices made when nobody was watching.

Physiques aren't built by chance.
