September 8 is Golf Course Superintendent Day, and we couldn’t let the day end without giving a HUGE shoutout to our Superintendent, Jason Bass!

Jason puts in countless hours behind the scenes keeping Squirrel Hollow looking beautiful and playing great. Early mornings, long days, unpredictable Michigan weather, and approximately 47 million things that need attention on a golf course… Jason handles it all. 😂

🐾 A message from Kevin, CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer):

Most of you know me as the handsome guy running things at Squirrel Hollow. What you might not know is that I’m here because of Sabrina’s Light. ❤️

Tomorrow night is the Sabrina’s Light Gala, and this one is personal. This organization helped save my life and gave me the chance to find my way to Squirrel Hollow, where I now have a very important executive position and a whole lot of people who love me.

So I’m calling in a favor. If you love seeing me at the course, please consider buying a ticket to tomorrow night’s gala and help Sabrina’s Light keep saving dogs like me.

Because without them, there wouldn’t be a Kevin at Squirrel Hollow. 🐾❤️

🌧️ TONIGHT’S MUSIC & FOOD TRUCK ARE CANCELED

The rain may be holding off, but everything is pretty soggy and the skies aren’t exactly screaming patio party. We’ve made the call to cancel On The Back 9, LOCOS FOOD TRUCK and Companion Cats tonight.

⛳ The course IS still open for golf!

We hate losing one of our September Fridays, but Mother Nature wins this one. 🐿️
