Mabel and Rosemary stepped on the mats today and gave us a lesson that goes way beyond technique.

Twins. Training partners. Each other’s toughest competition and biggest cheerleader — sometimes in the same five-minute round.

There’s something different about rolling with family. You can’t hide behind politeness. You push because you love them, and you grow because they push back. Every guard pass, every escape, every “again” between rounds — that’s two sisters building each other up one roll at a time.

Jiu-jitsu has a way of strengthening bonds that already run deep. These two are proof.
