Meet our Treasurer, Austin Lundquist!

• “Hi, my name is Austin Lundquist. I am the Treasurer for Geaux Shotgun. My major is Business Management with a concentration in Strategic Leadership, and I am going into my junior year at LSU. This sport has taught me discipline, patience, and how to stay focused under pressure. It has also taught me to help others and be a mentor to my fellow athletes. My goal as an officer is to help keep the team organized financially, be someone the team can count on, and help make this year a good one. Geaux Tigers!”

Meet our Secretary, Patrick Jones!

“Hey, my name is Patrick Jones. I am the acting secretary for the LSU Geaux Shotgun team. My major is Construction Management and I am going into my third year at LSU. This sport has taught me that the only pressure on you is the pressure you put on yourself. My goal as an officer is to help president and vice president with whatever they need to ensure we have the best year possible. Geaux Tigers!”

Meet our Vice President, Jase Holt!

“Hello everyone my name is Jase holt, and I am the Vice President for Geaux Shotgun. I’m a junior and I am studying Ag Business in the College of Agriculture. I can’t really pick one thing out whenever it comes to one lesson but I will say this, clays have taught me more than just how to shoot. It has taught me patience, discipline, focus, and how to stay calm under pressure. Every target is different, and once it is gone, you cannot get it back, so the sport has shown me the importance of moving on from mistakes and staying locked in on what comes next. It has also taught me that success does not come from luck, but from preparation, practice, repetitions, and trusting yourself when it matters. My goal as Vice President is to support the growth of the team and hopefully lead them to a future win but mainly to make sure everyone has a good time.”

“Hey y’all! I’m Lucy, President of Geaux Shotgun, and I’m a junior, majoring in Crop Science in the College of Agriculture. The most valuable lesson I’ve learned from this sport is to enjoy the process and prioritize building others up over focusing on my own score. I hope to create a positive, supportive environment for the team next season where everyone feels encouraged to grow and succeed. Geaux Tigers!”

Introducing our former Secretary, Tommy McPoyle! Tommy will be graduating in Mechanical Engineering, and he plans on working at LDC and getting his professional engineering certification. His favorite event is trap, and the highlight of his shooting career is shooting his highest trap score at the 2026 ACUI Nationals!

Introducing, James Daters!
James will be graduating in sports administration and plans on pursuing a career in facilities and event management. His favorite event is sporting clays, and the highlight of his shooting career is shooting a 100 straight in s***t at the 2026 ACUI Nationals!

Jacob will be graduating in biological sciences and is headed to LSU Dental School in the fall. His favorite event is doubles s***t. The highlight of his shooting career is winning the 2020 High-All-Around World Championship!
