It's a lot more than hundreds of kayaks chasing giant bull redfish in Caminada Pass. It's a 100% catch-and-release, no-kill redfish tournament. Every single bull red caught during this tournament gets released right back in the water, for the future. We Return 'Em Right.
And here's something a lot of our members don't know: a few years back, bull redfish caught AT Ride the Bull were used as brood stock for CCA Louisiana's Redfish Restocking program. Those fish produced the next generation of redfish โ and soon, those fingerlings will be released back into Louisiana waters. ๐

15 years of Ride the Bull. 15 years of anglers proving that conservation and world-class competition aren't opposites โ they go hand in hand.
More on the restocking announcement soon. Stay tuned. ๐ฃ

When the Impact Team makes an impact.
Back in November, volunteers joined us in Grand Isle to plant 25,000 plugs of dune grass along a two-mile stretch of beach. We're thrilled to see healthy, growing grass eight months later! As sand is blown along the beach, it will accumulate in the grass and form dunes. This will help mitigate erosion, provide storm protection and create habitat.
