Creating lifelong athletes
These two high school Freshman golfers have been training and working on speed and intent.
Our goal is to build physical capacity for greater resiliency, strength, power, mobility, and speed.
No circus tricks, golfish exercises, or balance and stability.
Just good ole fashioned high-intent strength, power, and speed training
If you want to optimize your training, I have 3 pieces of advice:
1. Simplify your workouts; less is more
2. Train with more intensity
3. Be consistent
These are the changes that I make for 99% of the golfers who come to me who are already working out but not seeing the results they want.
If you are tired of putting in work in the gym and not seeing the results that you want, email me at [email protected].
More distance and less pain in one book.

Golfers, if you want more swing speed, then prioritize these 3 things over everything:
1. Max intent loaded and unloaded jumps
2. Heavy lifting
3. Max intent speed swings
Congrats to GGS athlete Todd Doss on qulaifying for the Senior Am
Great playing from GGS athlete Doug Cristina
Beau Chene CC Senior Champion
He continues to work hard in the gym week in and week out
Great playing from GGS athletes Parker and Rylan at the LA junior Am
The first boxes I always check when training golfers are:
Getting strong in basic movement patterns
High-intent speed training
Daily mobility practice
But power development is very important to athletic development, and for all of us as we age, both on and off the golf course
So things like
Jumps
Med ball slams and throws
Speed-focused lifting
They are still a staple in all programs for all ages and levels
Junior golfers don't need a bunch of silly circus tricks, balance exercises, or golf swing looking movements.
They need to develop strength and power through the basic movements.
This will help them build a solid strength base, increase swing speed and stay healthy
Keep it simple
