This is one of those moments that reminds us baseball is about so much more than the scoreboard. 💙⚾🧡
Shout out to Landon Baber, of team Evolve. During the game, Landon noticed an opposing batter was having a tough time at the plate while he was pitching. The batter was nervous after being hit by a pitch in a previous game.
Instead of focusing only on the competition, Landon took a moment to comfort him, encourage him, and help him through it.
This is what youth sports should look like—sportsmanship, compassion, leadership, and teaching kids to take care of one another.
Landon, thank you for recognizing that this player needed encouragement in that moment. The lessons our kids learn on the baseball field go far beyond baseball.
