Well that is an end to our Wild Thing Kart season…the rain won today ☹️. Alex’s rookie season in the Senior Outlaws had its ups and downs but she overcame and did amazing!! We were hoping to run today and end the season with a good finish as some of the adjustments they have made were finally making the kart fast. But, this is about par for the course for this 42 team…finally getting things figured out but plans change.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors, family and friends for their support this season

A two race update for the 41 SK Light team….Race #1 - NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour night…. no heat races tonight due to the tour being at the track… Travis started 18th and the race, for the most part, was uneventful until lap 6 when Travis ended up in the grass driving between two cars that spun together on the front stretch. Unfortunately, when this happened, the right side nerf bar was bent bad enough that it was rubbing against the right rear tire… This ultimately ended Travis‘s night.

Race #2 - Paradiso Late Model 50 - Travis started on the pole for the heat race and finished 1st….this gave him a starting spot on the pole for the feature 😁. The race started, and he carried the lead until lap 2 where he fell to 2nd. He raced there for a few laps before the 1st caution came out for two separate crashes on the track. On the restart, there were two spins that caused the caution to come out again. The next restart and Travis regained 2nd place with a lot of fast cars coming quick behind him. With 6 laps to go, a car spun in the grass and caused another caution to come out. Restart brought out yet another caution for some cars that got together in the back of the field. On the last restart, Travis fell back to 3rd and then was battling another car but fell to 4th. With 2 laps to go, he was spun out by the car behind him but was able to keep going so no caution came out and he end up finishing 27th 😡. Extremely frustrating to be running up front the entire race until the last lap being spun out by someone for no reason. We had a really strong car this week and we continue to get better. Our driver has learned so much so this season and continues to improve every race. Just hate for a great night to end the way that it did.

We will be back this week to try again, and hopefully the outcome will be different this time 😊

Thank you to our sponsors, Car owners, family, friends, and fans for your continued support of the 41 team every week!

Senior Outlaw update…. let’s start back on August 24th, Double Feature night for the Senior Outlaws…. Alex had a fast kart in practice and was able to finish 5th in her heat race, securing her a spot in the main event. Unfortunately, before we got to the first race, we had some torrential rain which ended the night for everyone. Fast forward to Monday, August 31st where they moved the double features for the senior outlaws. Since Alex made the cut the week before she was already qualified for the feature. The first feature she started 13th… the first lap brought a caution that took out two karts in turn 4….. The rest of the race went without incident and Alex finished 14th for the first feature. The second feature she started in 13th again and unfortunately, this race didn’t go as well as the first race… She ended up getting spun out going into turn 3 causing her to bend an axle and some spindles 😡. Not the way we wanted to end the night ☹️.

Such a heartbreaking night for our girl! She finally had a fast kart and it ended up like so many of our nights this season 😔. We can’t tell you how proud we are of her and how hard she tries every week regardless of what cards she is dealt. With all of the hard work that both her and her father have put into this kart this season, she has gained more confidence in her driving. Keep your head up my girl! Bigger days are in store for you!!

Thank you to everyone who supports her every week! All of our sponsors, family, and friends… thank you for all that you do!

Maybury Back To Skool night….was a pretty comfortable night with a little rain bringing a beautiful rainbow over the track. Travis finished just outside of the handicap (6th) in his heat race putting him in a starting position of 16th for the feature. The beginning of the race was a battle for our driver starting in the middle of the field but he held his own. Lap 4 the first caution came out for a car that spun in turn 2. Lap 5 and Travis was still in 16th and driving hard…the race was pretty uneventful until lap 10 when a car got loose going into turn 2 and came down the track a bit and made contact with the front of our car and spun into the grass. Unfortunately Travis received the black flag and was put to the back of the field ☹️. The race restarted and was going well until another caution came out for two cars that got together on the front stretch. The next restart was ok until a spin at the rear of the field caused the next caution on lap 17. With 3 laps to go the race restarted and went right back to a caution for a spin in turn 2 that unfortunately took a bunch of cars with it. The last restart was a green/white/checker situation with a lot of hard racing throughout the field and landed our driver in 19th for the night. Another night in the books for this team. We continue to learn every week and continue to grow in this division. We are so proud of our driver for his hard work and dedication on and off the track…we are so thankful for our entire crew for their help every week! This team is an amazing group of people that helps make this journey special!!

Thank you to our car owners, sponsors, family, friends and fans for all of your support for our driver and team every week!! We appreciate you all!!

A little behind on posts lately 😔….going back to July 31st….Travis finished 5th in his heat race which put him in a starting spot of 2nd for the feature 😁. The beginning of the race started with some three wide racing at the front of the field where Travis was able to hold onto 2nd for a bit. He was passed and went to 3rd before a caution came out for a big wreck in turn 3. The restart had our driver battling for position with some heavy hitters in the division. With 9 laps to go the next caution came out for a tangle in turn 1. The restart was uneventful and Travis continued to push hard, he was in 10th place with 5 laps to go. Another caution came out with 3 laps to go. There were some great battles on the restart for the green/white/checker laps…Travis did a great job and brought the 41 car home in 10th place!!

August 7th, the SK 5K night…Travis finished 5th in his heat race so had a starting position of 3rd for the feature…unfortunately weather came in before the SK Lights could start their race cancelling the rest of the night ☹️🌧️🌩️. Looking forward to racing this Friday!

Every race our team continues to learn and grow…our driver is getting stronger every week and we couldn’t be more proud of him!!

Thank you to our car owners, sponsors, family, friends, and fans for all of their support throughout the season!!

Senior Outlaw recap of last week… Alex finished sixth in her heat race after a great battle with another kart for the last half of the race, this put her with a starting position of 18th for the feature. The race started and the first caution came out for two karts that got together in turn 2… the race restarted, and by lap 3 she was in 14th. The next caution came out on lap 7 when there was some contact with a lap kart coming out of turn 4. The next restart had Alex in 13th and she was battling for position until two karts got together in the front of the pack coming out of turn 4 causing a huge pile up behind them where thankfully our driver was able to maneuver around the wreck 🫣. After all of the karts involved were removed from the track, the race was able to continue (thankfully all that were involved were OK ❤️). Alexandra restarted in 9th position and she drove her heart out and battled between 9th and 10th for the rest of the race… She finished the race with her first top 10 this season! So proud of how far she’s come this season and can’t wait to see where she goes from here!

Thank you first and foremost to her crew chief aka Dad for all of the hard work he puts into the kart every week. We would also like to thank Mike O’Sullivan and Casey O’Sullivan for letting us use your kart so Alexandra can race this season 😁

Well it has been a minute since we posted last…so here is an update on what has been going on….the 41 team has been battling the past couple of races with being involved in situations that were not the fault of our driver 😔. It has been tough trying to get the seat and track time that our driver needs to better himself in this division. We thankfully have an amazing group of people behind us that continue to help get us back out there to contend every week.

So here we are, the last couple of weeks of July and we look forward to getting out there and doing our best every race and turn this season around 😊

We would like to thank our amazing sponsors for sticking with us on this crazy journey..

An extremely hot and steamy Friday night at the track…Travis started on the pole for his heat race and finished in 3rd (had some great battles with some top drivers in the division which was fun to watch 😊). This finish put Travis on the pole for the feature!!!! The race started and Travis kept the lead for the first 6 laps before a caution came out for a few cars that got into each other in turn 1 😔. On the restart, Travis was able to maintain the lead until another car challenged for position. Travis did a great job at holding them off for a bit as he wasn’t gonna give up that position easily….. by lap 10, Travis was back to 3rd position before a caution came out for a crash in turn 4. The next restart had our driver battling to stay in 3rd place but unfortunately he lost a few positions as the laps ticked down… The last few laps had Travis in 6th place and that would be where he would finish the race!! So proud of this finish!! Travis drove an amazing race and was able to battle with some of the best in the division! It was so nice to see him upfront and able to hold his own in the front of the field 😁. Hopefully this will be an indication of how the rest of the season may go for the 41 team 🤞. We will keep digging and working hard and see what we can do 😁.

Thank you so much to everyone, especially our car owners and sponsors, for all of their support!!
