It is with heavy hearts the Dragon Football Club board and our community mourn the loss of Austin Young. Austin was a beloved member of our football family and member of the Class of 2017.
Austin was part of something bigger than a team. He was part of a brotherhood built through long practices, Friday night lights, victories, defeats, laughter, friendships, and memories that last long after the final game.
For those who shared the field with Austin, he will always be a teammate. For those who watched him play, he will always be a part of the memories that made those football years so special. And for our entire athletic community, his loss is deeply felt.
Years may pass, but the bonds formed through the game of football never truly fade. Once you are part of a team, you are always part of that team. After all “once a Dragon, always a Dragon.”
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Austin’s family, friends, former teammates, coaches, classmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest peacefully, Austin. Your place in our teams history and in the hearts of those who knew you will never be forgotten.
