River city Riot 14U had a productive first weekend. The girls started the season off with a 5-4 win. We went down early but came back swinging. Absolutely a huge victory to start us off on the right foot.

Our second game immediately following game 1, the girls had no break. They fought the heat and stayed very competitive falling short 4-2. This game was not a complete loss though, we learned so much from this one.

🏆Player of the day was Hailee Feller. She piled up 12 strike outs from the mound. She was dominant in her first two outings!

BANDERA has so much to be proud of and an incredible future in softball because of these young women.

Let’s go RIVER CITY RIOT!

River City Riot 12U showed some guts Friday night! The girls went toe to toe with a very good team.

We didn’t get the outcome we wanted on the score board, but the girls gained so much more than a WIN. They saw fast pitching and big time hitters. Our bats stayed hot, and our defense made fantastic plays in the outfield, and even turning a flashy double play!

🏆Offensive player of the game was Allison Gilbert with two huge shots to deep center field.

🏆Defensive player of the game was Harper Hayes, with a couple outs at first, and an incredible in field pop fly catch and tag to make the double play!

💙River City Riot 12u showed up to PLAY Saturday! 🥎

The girls went 2-1 in their very first tournament. These girls were ready to hit the ball every at bat scoring 16 runs in their first 3 games. Defense played very well, great fielding, strong throws and tough pitching!

The stand-out performances of the day -
⭐Harper Hayes went 3-4 at the plate while recording 3 outs at first.
⭐Kinley Love went 4-4 at the plate with an inside the park home run and a triple.
