What an exciting weekend it was for our Division II semifinals! 🏆⚽️

In the first matchup, Taco Hell and Tequila Mockingbird battled all the way to the final minutes. With just 90 seconds remaining, Taco Hell captain Andrew Eneim scored the opening goal to put his side ahead 1-0. Seconds later, Tequila Mockingbird’s Tyler Chilton found himself 1-on-1 with a chance to equalize, but his shot headed for the upper 90 was somehow tipped wide by POTM David Padilla to preserve the win! 🧤🔥

In the other semifinal, the physical battle between Bmore Real and the surging Takeout City FC did not disappoint. Elvin opened the scoring after a speedy run down the right side, before Diego Guerrero doubled Bmore Real’s advantage with a free kick to help send them through to the championship.

And now, the stage is set. 🏆

The first round of our Summer Playoffs was full of excitement! 🔥⚽️

In Division I, both semifinal matchups needed more than 60 minutes to decide a winner, with games going to extra time and penalties as Kicking and Screaming and Ur Mom FC punched their tickets to the Final! The two will meet in a rematch of the Spring Championship, this time with the Summer title on the line. 🏆

In Division II, Tequila Mockingbird shook off their regular-season slump and is making another postseason run. After entering the playoffs as the 8th seed, the defending champions are still alive and looking to keep the trophy in their hands!

And we’re not done yet — the Division II semifinals are coming this weekend, with even more playoff drama and excitement still to come! 👀🏆

Kicking and Screaming is BACK! ⚽️

After finishing the Spring as Division I runners-up, K&S kicked it into high gear this summer, finishing with 6 wins and sitting alone at the top of the table. Their offense has led the way, scoring a league-high 27 goals in 8 games and featuring leading scorers in both the Men’s and Women’s Golden Boot races!

Leland and Aaron have done an amazing job building a powerhouse, and we’re thrilled to welcome them and the entire K&S squad back for their third season in IHSL! 🌊
