9x10 Girls 4x1 All-Americans. These young ladies Sky-Sevyn-Tori-Aiya ran their first 4x1 as a team at nationals and their first practice with all 4 legs was at nationals 😂. As you can see we had a lot of errors however they slipped into the finals as the last seed (59.1)and finished 6th in the finals with a time of 58.6. I strongly believe they could’ve finished top 3 with some more time to develop. Great job ladies!!!
9-10 Boys 4x1 All-Americans. Mason (10) -Liam (10)-Tristen (8) - Micah (9). These youngsters worked on this relay tirelessly for 4 months, if we didn’t have the fastest 4 we were going to be the cleanest. All the hard work paid off, true model of what it looks like to build a bond and continuity organically. They began the season at .58 and set seasons best the last 3x’s they ran the race including the semi-finals at nationals 54.96 and the finals at 54.66 good for 6th in the country. Great work boys!!!!
I debated hard on whether to share this or not but I kept coming back to these young ladies are the National Champs in my eyes. A medical emergency occurred in route to a championship that shook everyone up (She’s Ok). From sneaking into the finals, to a lineup change, to a resolve I still can’t articulate how she mustered to finish, to coaches worst nightmare of rushing to aid a fallen athlete. Ladies you are the National Champs in my eyes and I’m so proud of how you. The results don’t always tell the story 🤍🧡🖤

Final results from AAU Club Championships held in Jacksonville, Florida are in. We’re incredibly proud of these young people and so grateful for the parents, coaches, board members and donors that made this trip possible. It was an honor to compete against the best clubs in the nation and walk away with a top 10 finish. The learning experiences, bonds created and strengthened through sport are memories that last a lifetime. Running fast, jumping high, throwing and jumping far are the competition goals but accountability, work ethic, discipline, learning to be a better person/teammate, overcoming obstacles, respecting and protecting those around you are lessons to take everywhere you go. I know Coach V can be strict, irky, mean, extra and do the most but it’s always out of love, safety and to protect you from others and sometimes yourself. Building better young people has to be a focal point and I wouldn’t choose anybody else to do it with or do it for. Love Ya’ll 🤍🧡🖤
