⚾️Registration for the 2026 Fall baseball season is now OPEN through 9/1/26 (or until full) for the following age group Divisions:

💜Ages 7-9 (Rookies): Combination of kid pitch and coach pitch.

💛Ages 10-12 (Minors/Majors): Full kid pitch with some rule modifications.

The fall season is scheduled to start the week of September 1st and Games start the week of September 14th.

Please note that Minors and Majors Divisions are combined for the fall season to ensure we can field an adequate number of teams and having lights on just one field. Any requests to play up or down in a particular age group must be submitted to and approved by Dan Oswald.

Travel Baseball Tryouts

Want to take your baseball skills to a higher level? Well here's your opportunity. Take advantage to try out to be a 2026/2027 BSPA Scotties travel baseball player.

We are currently looking for players and coaches in the following age groups:
8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U

Age group based on age before May 1st of 2027.

Please make sure to select the correct age your player will be trying out for.

Tryouts will be the weeks of 7/20 and 7/27 and official dates for each age group will be announced soon.

Our 8U level travel team will be a coach pitch division. This way players can focus on batting and fielding skills without having the stress of learning to pitch as well. This is to build up young athletes' confidence and love for the game. We want players to be competitive but also have fun at the same time.

The 8U BSpa Scotties are bringing home the championship after an unforgettable undefeated season! From the first pitch to the final out, this team showed heart, determination, and true teamwork every step of the way.

A huge congratulations to the players for their hard work, the coaches for their leadership, the families who cheered them on all season long and Capital District Elite for this amazing league.

This championship wasn’t just won on game day—it was earned through countless practices, perseverance, and believing in one another.

Here’s to an amazing season, an undefeated record, and a championship trophy to top it all off. Way to represent the Scottie community with pride!

After spending the entire spring competing against 12U teams in Capital District Elite these two talented athletes were chosen and they take the field together in the 2026 CD Eliteu All-Elite Game.

This game showcases the very best players from the 2026 CD Elite Spring Season for one unforgettable night at Cook Park in Colonie.

The All-Elite Game brings together the best players from the 2026 CD Elite Spring Season for one night at Cook Park in Colonie. Gates open at 5 PM.

Some of these boys just played their very last Rec League baseball game, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the years have flown by. 💜💛⚾

From learning the basics to making lifelong friendships, they’ve spent so many seasons growing up on these fields. We’ve watched them celebrate big wins, learn from tough losses, and become incredible young men along the way.

Congratulations on this next chapter! We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to watch where the game—and life—takes you next.

⚾️ What an unforgettable night for our players at the Amsterdam Mohawks game! ⚾️

These kids were on an absolute high from the moment they arrived. They had the incredible opportunity to take the field with the players, participate in a light scrimmage, and every child got a chance to hit and run the bases!

One of the most special moments of the night was seeing some of our players help carry the giant American flag across the field during the National Anthem. 🇺🇸 It was an experience they will never forget.

The fun didn’t stop there! Throughout the game, our players participated in on-field games between innings, creating memories and plenty of laughs for both the kids and the adults.

A huge thank you to the Amsterdam Mohawks for welcoming our league, signing baseballs and celebrating youth baseball. It was truly an amazing evening, and we are so grateful for the memories made! ❤️⚾️
