I train athletes to perform under pressure. Nervous system. Strength. Competition prep. Coaching available šŸ‘‡ No extremes.

Hi, I’m Brandie — Masters athlete (2017), Coach, Nutrition coach, and Neurofeedback Technician. I believe real progress is built through the unglamorous, consistent work most people skip. This space is for athletes who want to get stronger, improve conditioning, and fuel their bodies in a way that supports both training and real life — not burnout. Here you’ll find practical training insights, smart conditioning strategies, and honest coaching perspective that connects how you move, how you eat, and how your brain and nervous system handle stress and recovery. Because performance isn’t about grinding harder; it’s about training smarter and staying in the game longer. No shortcuts. Just intentional work that compounds over time.

You don’t lose the race when someone passes you. You lose it in the three seconds after.

09/17/2026

The race starts before the gun. Train your nervous system for what’s already happening.

09/16/2026

Your nervous system is wired to protect you. When you train both sides together, the stronger side compensates. The weaker side gets carried. And the imbalance stays hidden.

Save this before your next meet.

The moment an athlete stumbles, loses pace, or gets passed -what happens in the next two seconds determines the rest of their race. That’s a nervous system response, not a fitness problem. The brain reads the mistake as a threat and starts shutting down output before the athlete consciously decides anything.

Most coaches train your fitness. I train your nervous system.

Here’s what 12 weeks with me actually looks like:

Weeks 1-4 — you learn your signals. The moments your body is telling you something before your brain catches up.

Weeks 5-8 — you train decisions under fatigue. Not just pushing through. Making the right call when it’s hard.

Weeks 9-12 — you practice pressure on purpose. So game day isn’t the first time you’ve been there.

This isn’t mindset fluff. It’s specific reps, real decisions, and nervous system work built around your training.

DM me BRAIN FIRST and I’ll send you the application.

Practice after school? Pack fuel, not just gear.

If lunch was at 11 and practice starts at 4, that is a long time to go without food.

A simple carbohydrate-focused snack 1–3 hours before practice, plus fluids throughout the day, is a practical starting point.

Easy options: fruit, applesauce, a granola bar, toast, crackers, or pretzels.

You do not need a perfect snack. You need enough fuel to show up ready to train.
Pack fuel. Not just gear.

Your nervous system needs to generate force in every direction.

Train both planes.

The top of the hill isn’t the finish line. Keep moving. 2-mile warm-up. 4-mile hills. 1-mile cool-downšŸƒšŸ‘Ÿ

🧠Your nervous system will always look for the exit before something heavy. That’s not weakness. That’s protection.
