Hey everyone, the space is almost ready. We should have an opening date by the end of next week. Let's blow the doors off this gym and make it one of the best gyms in Syracuse. Remember that your memberships will include full access to the weightlifting gym and both jiu jitsu gyms. We would not be able to open a second location without all of the support from our Haven family and community.

I would always rather give my students an opportunity to grow and teach, then kick them out and burn bridges for wanting to run their own place. Grow the empire and don't stifle the people you are supposed to be lifting up. This, in my opinion, is one of the reasons we are so successful. Let's continue that success and see everyone on the mats.

What an incredible day for Haven. We had Doug Miller Senhor Okoeguale and jerry martin competing today. Obi took silver in his division and gold in the absolutes, crushing it today. Doug had a very tough match, in my opinion, questionable call. Jerry double golded today. Jerry took gold in every major this year except pans with a silver. Jerry will be getting his Brown and Obi his purple belt when I'm up for the yearly seminar. Fantastic job, guys, and what an amazing way to close out masters worlds. 8 master worlds competitors coming home with 5 medals is incredible. Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what everyone does in their new divisions.

Great showing on day 2 of worlds. Everyone won the bulk of their matches, but divisions are so huge its very, very difficult to medal. Dickie White Dustin Cowles Omar Phillips and Ryan Wight all did amazing today. Ryan took second at worlds. Him and Josh Smith will be promoted at the new gym they will be running, or else I would have promoted them at worlds. Great job everyone and can't wait to see how everyone does the next few days.

Some of the stripe belt promotions this week for the kiddos. We try to incentivize tournaments through belt promotions. Makes me proud to see how hard these kids work to get better on the mats to show it off in tournaments.

Great day for everyone today. Tyson Cappetta won by 2nd round tko. I'll get an update tomorrow but looks like everyone crushed it at grappling industries as well. Proud of our team, affiliates and everyone that makes haven what it is.
