This young man just grinds and the results are speaking for themselves. Congrats Axe on heading to VEGAS and completing your goal of wining gold in one of the most stacked tournaments of the year IBJJF JIU JITSU CON! Amazing job!
Great class last night hitting pads, tech sparring and lots of cardio. Everyone moved great!
Little half guard we worked, as they tripod we lock them down and stretch, creating a side to side swing to force a base or sweep, as they base frame to pin them and get on the elbow to create the sub angle. Mixing in the lockdown with other half guard escapes will make your bottom game more versatile and make your partner think twice how they approach the pass!
Little look at last week’s gauntlet and what those who were promoted challenged themselves with during a busy week of life ! All of us have stresses and are just busy in life and to train BJJ is telling about all those that train! Congrats to those that were promoted and the rest of the team for showing such camaraderie!
The confidence martial arts brings is like nothing else. Drilling, sparring, working out, friendships, etc… is a day at Sentosa! Come try it out.

Tonight was amazing, 30 minutes straight, 90 second rounds, fresh fighter each time, and after Sentosa has 1 new Brown Belt and 3 new Blue Belts. Not every student has the time or money to compete like the way we want to, so the gauntlet is a way to face a challenge and over come the difficulty. Getting slapped with a belt does nothing, 30 rounds with a fresh opponent forces you to dig deep and will stay engraved in our brains forever. Congrats Matte, Matt, Gilbert, Michael and Big Zach. Sentosa adds more to the growing list of those that give their souls to this hobby we love so much. Congrats! 👊
