🚨 Buying a Motorized Bicycle? Read This First! 🚨

Here’s a tip that could save you time, money, and a major headache:

Do NOT buy a used motorized bicycle unless you know exactly what you're getting into. Many of these bikes are being sold by people who are just trying to unload their problem onto someone else. With no background on the build or maintenance history, you're rolling the dice—and it’s usually not in your favor.

That said, there is a grey area…

✅ Some builders use brand-new bikes and brand-new engine kits, assemble them properly, test ride them, and then sell them. These are generally a much safer bet.

But when it comes to used-used bikes—the ones that have changed hands or been worked on by someone who isn’t mechanically inclined—they often come with hidden issues that can leave you ready to toss the whole thing out.

Not everyone is a mechanic, and sometimes DIY "fixes" only make things worse.
