Sound side fishing session in Avon, OBX — a little bit of everything today 🎣

Lizardfish, bluefish, and then the big one: caught a stingray for bait and found out she was pregnant. Filleted carefully enough to find the pups still alive — got every one of them back in the water unharmed.

Not the plan, but glad it worked out the way it did.

Golf course pond, Florida, and absolutely no idea what I just caught 🎣

Best guess? Some kind of cichlid — these ponds are stacked with invasive species nobody expects. Drop a comment if you know exactly what this is.
