Teacher Spotlight: Grete ✨
Meet Grete (she/her), one of our lovely teachers here at MVP.
Grete teaches Candlelit Slow Flow every Tuesday from 7:30–8:30pm, a grounding, all-levels practice designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect.
Her teaching blends Vinyasa, Yin, Power Flow, and Trauma-Informed Yoga with an emphasis on mindfulness, choice, and creating a space where every student feels supported. With Grete, you’re invited to move in a way that honors your body, your experience, and what you need that day.
Her classes are rooted in the belief that yoga gives us a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and return to ourselves through breath and movement.
Grete hopes students leave feeling:
✨ refreshed
✨ grounded
✨ present
Outside the studio, you can find her traveling, playing pickleball, exploring skincare and beauty, spending time with animals, and trying new foods.
Fun fact: She speaks Lithuanian 🇱🇹 and believes we’re all experiencing life for the very first time. She also graduated from our 200hr YTT!
Join Grete Tuesday evenings for a candlelit practice to unwind, reset, and come home to yourself. 🕯️❤️

Yoga is an ancient practice rooted in India, shaped by philosophy, discipline, and inquiry long before it became what much of the modern world recognizes today.
While movement is often the most visible part of yoga, the tradition offers much more: tools for awareness, relationship, and reflection.
At MVP, we honor both the roots of yoga and the ways it can support modern life through yoga therapy, accessible practice, and community.
Today and always, we honor the teachers, lineages, and traditions that continue to carry this practice forward.
Happy International Day of Yoga. ❤️

End your week with us 🌅💖
Join Amy Amy this Friday, June 19th from 7–7:45 PM for Sunset in Savasana, a free community practice on the lawn outside the studio.
A chance to slow down, soften, and reconnect, with your body, the earth beneath you, and the people around you. Let the sunset hold you as you unwind from the week and settle into presence.
Bring your mat, a friend, and anything that helps you feel comfortable outdoors. We can’t wait to practice with you.

When most people think of yoga, they think of poses.
But yoga is also found in the small moments of everyday life.
It’s in the breath you take before reacting.
The boundary you honor.
The kindness you offer.
The moment you choose presence over distraction.
The way you care for yourself when no one is watching.
The physical practice can help us build awareness, but the invitation of yoga extends far beyond the mat. It’s a practice of how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.
This week, notice where yoga is already showing up in your life.
💛 Which of these feels most present for you right now?
