I've been thinking a lot about entrepreneur wellness lately.
Not just physical wellness, but the overall wellbeing of entrepreneurs.
Many of us leave corporate jobs because we want more freedom, more flexibility, and more control over our lives. But then we accidentally build businesses that leave us just as overwhelmed as the jobs we left behind.
One of the biggest contributors to entrepreneur burnout isn't a lack of productivity.
It's a lack of leverage.
Your revenue model shapes how much time, energy, and attention your business demands from you. It influences whether you're constantly chasing your next sale or building predictable income. Whether you're spending your days in meetings or creating assets that can scale beyond your time.
In this video, I share some of the lessons I've learned from building Mostly Well, including what has worked (and what hasn't) when it comes to memberships, courses, group programs, B2B services, and AI-powered systems.
The goal isn't just to make more money.
It's to build a business that supports the life you actually want to live.
If you're trying to create more leverage, save time, and build a business that doesn't require sacrificing your wellbeing, check out The Well-Run Business here:

I’m Lisa Wade, NASM-certified personal trainer, Texas Masters boxing champion, and author. Stay well, y'all.
I became a personal trainer and started this business to share knowledge with women & help them enjoy fuller, healthier lives. I’ve long been interested in exercise and healthy eating, but after watching my mom’s health deteriorate due to her battle with brain cancer, and being stunned by the breast cancer diagnosis of my otherwise healthy aunt, my interests in fitness and healthy living were kick
Most people start a business because they want more freedom.
I know I did.
After being laid off from my tech career, I was determined to build a future on my own terms. But what I quickly learned was that entrepreneurship doesn't automatically create freedom.
In fact, many entrepreneurs end up recreating the same burnout they were trying to escape.
In this video, I share:
• Why passive income is largely a myth
• The difference between hard work and leverage
• Why some businesses scale and others don't
• How my background in systems thinking, UX design, and information architecture helped me build a healthier business
• The framework I now use to create more time, flexibility, and impact
The goal is to spend more of your time on work that matters and less on the tasks that drain you.

If you can breeze through 15 reps without any effort, the weight is too light.
Building muscle in perimenopause requires progressive overload -- gradually increasing the challenge so your body has a reason to adapt. Light weights and high reps do not provide that stimulus.
A simple rule: the last two reps of your working set should be genuinely difficult while keeping good form. If they are not, add weight.
