Last month, WBSA United 09/10G captured the 2026 South Texas Youth Soccer Presidents Cup State Championship! Now, the journey continues. Next week, the team will compete in the United States Youth Soccer (US Youth Soccer) South Central Presidents Cup in Round Rock, facing top U17 girls teams from Oklahoma and North Texas for a chance to advance to the National Presidents Cup to be held later this summer in Wichita, Kansas.

🎓 Congratulations to Junior Coach Zuri on her recent graduation from McNeil High School!

For the past several seasons, Zuri has been an important part of the WBSA SoccerKIDZ program, bringing energy, positivity, and enthusiasm to our youngest players.

As SoccerKIDZ Head Coach Betsey Harper shared, "It has been a wonderful experience watching Zuri grow, build confidence, and develop into a coach who brings so much energy and positivity to the kids she works with."

We are grateful for the support of our entire SoccerKIDZ volunteer team, including Coach Betsey and Coach Tessi, and proud of all that Zuri has accomplished.

A huge congratulations to all of our WBSA teams that competed in the 10th Annual Town & Country Spring Cup this past weekend. WBSA had an incredible showing with 7 teams participating in the tournament, and we are proud to celebrate 3 teams that brought home hardware! 🏆

🥈 WBSA Academy Girls (aka Shooting Stars), coached by Jennifer Christmas and assisted by Darrell Christmas, battled their way to a 2nd Place finish in the U10 Girls Gold Bracket after an intense championship match that came down to penalty kicks. What an amazing effort from this talented group of young athletes. This team will be competing in WDDOA Alpha this fall.

🥇 WBSA United 13B, coached by Jesse Valdez and assisted by Gabriel Perlaza, came out on top as Champions of the U13 Boys Gold Bracket! This team was recently promoted to WDDOA Challenger for the upcoming fall season, a huge accomplishment and well deserved.

🥇 WBSA United 09/10G, also coached by Jesse Valdez, earned 1st Place in the U16-18 Girls Bracket! Adding to an already incredible season, this team was recently promoted to the newly created WDDOA Platinum Division for the fall. This tournament also served as a great tune-up as the team now prepares for the upcoming STSYA Presidents Cup Final this weekend.
