⚾️Generals Close Regular Season With Fourth Straight Win⚾️ By GameChanger Media Generals were triumphant over Crushers 9-7 on Sunday at Downs Field, securing their fourth consecutive victory to close out the regular season. After falling behind by one run in the top of the first inning, Generals quickly responded. W***y Homza singled to drive in two runs, and Jesse Hall added an RBI groundout to give the Generals a 3-1 lead. Generals added another run in the second inning before Cameron Caldwell delivered a two-run single in the third to extend the advantage to 6-3. Adam Collins earned the win in relief, surrendering one hit and no runs over one inning while striking out one. Matty Heckeroth started on the mound and allowed one unearned run over two innings, striking out three. Caldwell, Austin Hoffmann, and Alexsi Carrasquillo also appeared in relief to help secure the victory. Generals collected 12 hits, with Dylan Farinacci and Brodie Hallford recording two hits apiece. Homza and Caldwell each drove in two runs. Generals also stole four bases and turned two double plays. The Generals Baseball Club’s 28+ Battalion ends the regular season riding a four-game winning streak and now turns its attention toward the postseason. Every season, as each Battalion of the Generals Baseball Club comes to an end, we gather to celebrate our Annual Awards Honors which will be hosted at for 2026!

These awards recognize the players who made the greatest impact—not only through their performance on the field, but also through their leadership, character, and commitment to the club.

Each award is named after a Generals legend whose legacy helped shape what this club is today. Their names represent the standard every player strives to uphold.

Game 2 of the 38+ Championship Series commences with a 7pm first pitch at the historic Downs Field in Austin, Texas. The 38+ Nukes Battalion of the Generals Baseball Club aims to level the series and secure a game 3 tomorrow night. Game 1 was a thrilling 2-1 classic between the two best teams in the division, who are also the league’s top contenders. ⚾️Nukes Complete Sweep, Punch Ticket to Championship Series⚾️ The Nukes are headed back to the championship series. With a hard-fought 5-4 extra-inning victory over the Cardinals, the Nukes completed the playoff sweep and advanced to the 38+ Championship Series for the second consecutive season. In just their first two years in the 38+ division, the Nukes have now reached the league finals in both seasons. The win also continues an incredible run for the Generals Baseball Club, which has now had at least one battalion reach a championship series every season since 2020. The game came down to the biggest moment of the afternoon. After Alex Carrasquillo worked a clutch walk and aggressively advanced all the way from first base, Richard “Rico” Garza delivered the game-winning double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Nukes ahead for good. The offense set the tone early, scoring in each of the first three innings. Dylan Barton drove in the game’s first run on a fielder’s choice before adding another RBI with a sacrifice fly, while Andrew Eich chipped in with an RBI single. Carson Porter, Brandon Buckli, and Garza each collected two hits as the Nukes finished with 10 hits and also turned two key double plays on defense. After the Cardinals battled back to tie the game in the sixth, Jeffery Doege took over on the mound and slammed the door. The veteran right-hander tossed two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while keeping the Cardinals off the board to secure the victory, complete the series sweep, and send the Nukes back to the championship stage. Back-to-back championship appearances. Two seasons in the division. ⚾️Recruits Make History with 18-5 Rout of Defending Champion ATX Wicked⚾️

History was made Sunday at Downs Field.

In just their inaugural season, the Generals Baseball Club 18+ Recruits Battalion earned the organization’s first-ever playoff victory in the 18+ division, rolling past defending league champion ATX Wicked by a score of 18-5.

After a scoreless first inning, the Recruits exploded for nine runs in the second, fueled by RBIs from Joe Fenner, Joe Quinlan, Andrew Saucedo, Josh Doyle, and Ty Collins. They never looked back, adding two more runs in the third before erupting for seven runs in the fourth behind Maxx Ribble’s three-run home run, Joseph Rajo’s two-run double, and Jacob Garza’s two-run single.

The Battalion piled up 16 hits in one of its best offensive performances of the season.

Garza led the way, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs while also earning the win on the mound. He allowed just one hit over 3⅓ innings, striking out five. Rajo also collected three hits, while Ribble and Quinlan added multi-hit performances. Fenner, Doyle, Collins, and Saucedo all drove in key runs as the lineup produced from top to bottom.

The Recruits also played clean defense, committing no errors in the milestone victory.

With the win, the Battalion not only advanced in the postseason but secured the first playoff victory in Generals Baseball Club history at the 18+ level—and did it in dominant fashion against the defending champions.

The Generals Baseball Club will be playing their first 18+ playoff games as the 18+ Recruits Battalion take on the defending champion Wicked in an early test for a new team to prove they belong!

First pitch for both games Saturday and Sunday are at 4pm at the Historic Downs Field in Austin, Texas!
