⚾️38+ Nukes Battalion Extends Winning Streak To 6, Takes Over First Place⚾️ The Generals Baseball Club 38+ Nukes Battalion continued their championship-caliber play on Sunday, defeating the Austin Blue Jays 38+ by a score of 12-1 at Anderson High School. The Nukes wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for five runs in the opening inning. Yimy Galarraga got the offense started with an RBI single, Tyson Spring followed with a two-run single, and Thomas Fugate added a two-run double to give the Nukes an early advantage. The offense kept its foot on the gas in the third inning, plating six more runs to break the game wide open. Galarraga drove in another run, Fugate added an RBI sacrifice fly, Carson Porter ripped a two-run triple, and the lineup continued to produce quality at-bats from top to bottom. On the mound, Brandon Buckli delivered a strong performance, allowing just one unearned run on three hits over five innings while issuing no walks. The defense backed him up throughout the afternoon, turning a double play and limiting the Blue Jays to just a handful of scoring opportunities. The Nukes finished with 14 hits as a team, with Brian Power, Alexsi Carrasquillo, Richard Garza, and Galarraga each collecting two hits. Fugate led the offense with three RBIs as the Battalion once again showed the depth that has fueled its recent success. The victory extends the Nukes’ winning streak to six consecutive games and moves them into sole possession of first place in the 38+ Division. With all playoff spots now locked in across the division, the race has shifted to postseason seeding.
