It takes more than just jumping to jump higher.

A stronger vertical is built through the work you do beyond the jump —> developing core strength, building lower-body strength, improving power production, and then learning how to put it all together explosively.

✅ Strength gives you the foundation.
✅ Power helps you produce force quickly.
✅ Core strength helps you transfer that force.
✅ Jump training teaches you how to use it.

The goal isn’t just to practice jumping. It’s to build a stronger, more powerful athlete who can jump higher.

It may be 1,000 degrees outside, they may be tired, but one thing about out these guys, they always have a great attitude and give their best.

Sprint work, max effort lifts, speed and power sessions demand full recovery between quality reps. That’s how progress actually gets made.

Every rep at true intent is a signal to your nervous system and your muscles: this is the standard, adapt to this. Lose that intent, and you’re not training anymore, you’re just accumulating fatigue.

The recovery between reps isn’t rest for the sake of comfort. It’s what lets you hit that standard again, and again, until your body has no choice but to adapt to it.

If you’re training for performance, quality over quantity is non-negotiable for max-effort work.

Stronger hip flexors for better knee lift.

More powerful arm swing to keep driving when fatigue sets in.

The little things don’t look impressive.

Until they start making a big difference.

Every drill has a purpose. Every rep adds up.

Keep stacking them.

This is what getting better looks like😅

These athletes worked hard and it shows!
Not every athlete loves this part.

But this is the part that shows up when the game gets hard, when the opponent is better, when it’s time to level up.

You don’t level up skipping the daily work.

Speed + power start here⚡️

Short sprints + consecutive hurdle jumps build the foundation for faster, more explosive athletes in any sport.

✔️ Acceleration – first-step quickness, getting to the ball/space faster
✔️ Explosive power – higher jumps, stronger takeoffs, better reactions

It’s about doing the right things:
☑️ Sprint mechanics that improve stride efficiency, posture, and force application
☑️ Plyometrics that build real, usable power
☑️ Progressions that build confidence and reduce injury risk

This is how athletes prepare for the season.

Change takes time and these strong ladies are proof that showing up consistently matters more than anything else!

Some days they love it. Some days no so much. But they still show up, building the habit of showing up over and over again. Seeing the results is the fun part!

That’s what builds strength for life and what that actually looks like for these ladies:

✔️ Building a strong foundation to do Barbell Squats for the first time!
✔️ Pressing weight and feeling like they can now do more weight!
✔️ Doing agility work better and faster!
