Two weeks into the new engine and, baby, we back. ✨

I'll likely add controllers for the fan (cooler sooner) and throttle (less lag). While we determined I have 4.56 gears and not 4.88 (😒), the cruising RPMs are still a couple hundo higher than needed. The issue worsens when going over 70 mph. Pushing 80 or 85, the revs quickly approach 3,000 instead of staying around 2,700 or 2,800.

This issue isn't new. The shop I used to go to said this change was "fine" and "normal". Sure, maybe, but I hated the feeling from the first drive with the new (and wrongly identified) gears. Compared to other JKUs with a similar setup (2.5-inch lift, steel bumpers, and 315s), mine is apparently sluggish.

So, until I need and can afford true 355s — shut up — I plan to see what I can do with what I got that's cost effective.
