A meal that supports your goals should include:

• Protein
• Carbs
• Fruits and/or vegetables
• Fats

From there, adjust your portions based on your goals, activity level, and preferences.

Want help putting it all together?

I created a FREE 7-day email series that walks you through how to build better meals for your goals.

DM me “MEAL” and I’ll send you the link.

If you’re getting wrist pain when bench pressing or overhead pressing, check your wrist position.

When you press, you want your wrist stacked and supported rather than letting it bend backward or to the side.

You want to have the weight sitting low in your palm with your wrist aligned with your forearm.

This gives you a more stable position to press from and can help reduce unnecessary strain on your wrist.

This will also allow you to press more weight. And who doesn’t want that?

Save this if this was helpful.

The problem isn’t your goal.

It’s the gap between what you want and what you’re actually willing to do to achieve it.

This isn’t about being perfect or doing everything 100% of the time.

It’s about being honest with yourself.

Ask yourself:

“Am I willing to do the things this goal requires?”

If the answer is no, you have two choices:

1. Change your habits.
2. Adjust the goal.

You can’t just want the outcome.

You have to be willing to do what the outcome requires.

The goal should fit the life you’re actually willing to live.

You don’t have to love working out.

You don’t even have to love every exercise you do.

But if you’re constantly telling yourself:

“I hate this.”
“This is so hard.”
“I don’t want to be here.”
“It’s going to suck.”

You’re adding another layer of negativity to something that’s already challenging.

And no, changing your mindset isn’t going to magically make a hard workout easy.

But it might make it more tolerable.

And when something feels more tolerable, you’re more likely to stick with it.

You’ll get stronger.

You’ll get better.

You’ll get closer to your goals.

And maybe you’ll even hate it a little less.

You don’t have to love every workout.

You just have to stop making yourself hate it more than you already do.
