No one talks about how Austin’s Ladybird Lake acts as a third space for the city and provides opportunities to meet people, make new friends, and explore not only nature, but also the social environment of Austin.
Our dockies see this all the time on the shoreline, and this week was no exception, so without further ado—
1. “Hey man how’s the fishing here? I just moved here and am trying to get a feel for what to expect.”
•This line was used more than 3 times on a couple of groups until a friendship was forged for the young man.
2. “Sometimes you gotta let the silly goose go for a run when you’re out looking for fun.”
3. “What a beautiful day, I’m glad we did this. I’ve missed you man”

Tonight’s bat tour is a go + we’re finally open for rentals tomorrow. It’s been far too long folks.
