Technology made connection easier, but relationships less automatic.

Real connection requires effort. You have to choose to leave the house, make plans, and deal with the inconvenience of other people.
It takes work but the price of avoiding that work is loneliness.
Desire isn’t something you always need to control.
It gives you information.
Move toward what you want, pay attention to the result, and adjust.
Every step teaches you more about the direction that’s right for you.
The way you rest after work affects how well you perform the next day.
A few minutes of scrolling can easily become an hour, followed by a rushed dinner and a late-night binge.
Then you wonder why you can’t concentrate.
Better performance doesn’t always start with working harder.
Sometimes it starts with resting better.
Everyone wants to be level ten, so they choose a level ten challenge and burn out. But growth comes from finishing.
You level up in games by completing small quests. Life works the same way. So stop chasing the final boss and just complete the next small challenge.
Are you confused? Is somebody confused? Because I'm not. We already know.
You change your behavior and you change your life. Everyone is wondering why we're sick, tired, and lonely. And the answer is because we changed how we live our lives. We changed our behavior.
If people are wondering why they're sad it's because they're doing what sad people do.
Hope keeps us alive. And when you want stuff there's a chance that you could get it. It's something that keeps you alive that there's chance that things could be better.
But if you want something and it turns out you can't get that thing or that it's not what you thought it would be. you lose that hope. And that's scary because hope is the thing that drives us.
So if you want to go after things that you want you have to be willing to experience the loss of hope because not everything that you want is going to turn out great.
But the problem is if you never go after things that you want you are without hope. You are truly hopeless.
You’re not worse at changing than you used to be. You just have more worth keeping.
At twenty, reinventing yourself can happen in one decision because there may not be much you need to carry forward. But as you get older, you collect skills, relationships, knowledge, values, and experiences that have become part of who you are.
Real growth isn’t about throwing away your past and becoming someone completely different. It’s about building on everything you’ve already become.
You don’t just change who you are. You build who you are.
Not letting yourself experience joy because you’re afraid of losing it is like not charging a battery because you’re afraid you might drain it later. The good times are meant to keep you going through the bad. Never stop yourself from feeling happy just because someday you’ll be sad.
