This past weekend we had our BBOW 101 Trail Safety workshop.
The women leaned valuable skills about situational awareness, scenario options and some body defense techniques. We hope this workshop hands-on training will never have to be used but we left with more confidence to go out and enjoy the outdoors. Plus it was a great workout for a Saturday!
Missed out? We plan to have more classes so make sure you are checking your BOW e-newsletters.

Crikey!! My whole life I have had a passion for animals and saving the planet. Steve Irwin was a huge inspiration to me and taught me a lot about conservation and sharing the planet with others.
When I was offered this position a year ago, first thing I said was "I get to be my own Steve Irwin!!"
After 20 years gone he is still impacting others and is missed for his passion in education and wildlife.
“We don’t own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife.”
― Steve Irwin
