Not the best, not the worst, but MY best FOR now.

Being in the bodybuilding scene for over a decade and working with clients who are just getting into the game makes me really reflect on myself, how I move, and my expectations.

I always tell clients if your first show isn’t your last it won’t be your best ever, but it will be your best for now; and that should light you the f**k up.

Started really getting into shooting back in late December and now 8 months later passed my shooting evaluation for level 3 security.

I’m extremely hard on myself and want to be proficient, effective, excellent at whatever endeavor I pursue. A great quality to have and a quality that can be so damn discouraging. However, I’ll follow my own advise and let it light me up.

Fundamentals over heavy weight is the only way I will train clients. Ironically the most common exercises (squats/deadlifts/& bench) are the ones I see with the worst form and heavy weight. In my experience people who experience knee, lower back, and elbow pain (bench) with these sorts of exercises typically fall in the category of people lifting beyond their means.
