ATX Polar Bears

The ATX Polar Bears are looking for a few new players to complete our D & E division teams this fall in Austin's LGBTQ+ softball league. Whether you are experienced or brand new to softball, we'd love to have you join us at our next Open Practice on Sunday 8/30.

The fall season is 6 Sundays between 9/13 and 10/25 (no games 10/11) with practices Wednesday evenings.

12 games over 6 Sundays between late-September and mid-November, with a weekly practice (day/time TBD) to improve your skills. Plus, we'll be participating in the Texas Hoedown Tournament 11/7-11/8 here in Austin.

If you asked me when I started this team if we would have grown to 4 teams (C, D, E, Legends) and 70 players in just 4 years, I would’ve called you crazy. But, here we are.

Last week’s open practice had 42 players - our biggest practice ever. We are excited to hit the fields this spring for fun, laughs, camaraderie, and a little softball in between.

Just one more week of practices before games begin!
