Hello everyone! I’m so excited to introduce myself as an MSW Intern at Inspired Practice LLC!

My name is Samiha, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at The University of Texas at Arlington. I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate the different seasons of life. I believe that therapy isn’t about avoiding every storm, but about learning how to move through those storms with compassion, self-awareness, and support. 🌧️🌱

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop my clinical skills at Inspired Practice while supporting individuals on their own journeys toward healing and growth. I’m looking forward to connecting with you and being part of this community! 🤍

Sometimes we don't realize how much we've grown because we're too focused on the next step. We overlook the quiet victories, the hard conversations, the moments we wanted to give up but chose to keep going anyway.
Growth rarely happens all at once. It happens one decision, one challenge, and one small act of courage at a time.
If you're walking through a season that feels impossible, don't lose hope. Keep showing up. Keep taking the next step. One day, you'll look back and realize that what once felt impossible became part of your story.
🤍 Keep going. Your future self is cheering you on.

Therapy isn't just for moments of crisis—it's a tool for growth, healing, and self-discovery. 🌱

People seek therapy for many different reasons, and every reason is valid. Whether you're learning to manage difficult emotions, process past experiences, build healthier habits, or simply understand yourself better, therapy can provide a nurturing space to explore, heal, and grow.

If you've been considering therapy, this is your reminder to take that first step. Visit www.InspiredPractice.com to schedule a free consultation with a therapist today! 💜

Stress happens. Here's how to work through it, one small step at a time.

Box breathing: Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. Repeat until your shoulders drop.

Brain dump: Write down everything swirling in your head. Getting it out of your mind and onto paper can bring instant relief.

Move your body: A 5-minute walk, some stretching, even dancing in your room. Movement shifts your mood more than you'd think.

Reach out: Text a friend, talk to someone you trust, or just say "I'm having a hard time." You don't have to carry it alone.

Which one will you try today? 💛

New school year, new routines! A couple of back to school tips for making the transition easier and to take care of your mind at the same time:

1️⃣ Sleep first. A regular bedtime beats an extra hour of scrolling. Your brain needs the reset.
2️⃣ Name the nerves. First-day jitters are normal. Saying "I'm nervous" out loud takes away some of its power.
3️⃣ Build in breathing room. Between classes, activities, and homework, protect small pockets of downtime; even if it is only 10 minutes.

We often celebrate the moment someone finally takes the leap, sets the boundary, leaves the unhealthy relationship, asks for help, or chooses to heal.
But what we don't talk about is what usually comes first. Exhaustion.

The kind that comes from carrying too much for too long.
From pouring into everyone else while running on empty.
From surviving instead of truly living.
Sometimes reaching your limit isn't a sign that you've failed.
Sometimes it's the moment you realize you can't keep abandoning yourself.

If you're in that season, give yourself grace.
Your exhaustion may not be the end of your story, it may be the beginning of a life where you finally choose yourself.
