Because staying strong isn’t just about me anymore.
It’s about getting down on the floor to play, and getting back up with ease.
It’s about having the energy to keep up. It’s about carrying little ones, chasing them around, traveling together, and saying yes to more memories.
That’s why I move my body. Not to make it smaller. Not to punish it. But to keep it strong, capable, and ready for the life I want to keep living.
Sometimes the best fitness goals have nothing to do with a number on the scale.
Train for the moments you never want to miss. 🤍
You give so much of yourself to everyone else. Your work, your family, your relationships, your responsibilities.
But taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be the thing that happens only when there’s time left over. 🤍
Give yourself space to be first sometimes, to move your body because it makes you feel strong, to slow down when you need it, to prioritize the habits that make you feel like you, to take care of the body that carries you through everything else.
Because when you consistently make space for yourself, you’re not taking away from anyone else.
You’re building a stronger, more grounded version of you, and that version has so much more to give.
Consider this your reminder: you’re allowed to be a priority, too. 🤍
At 25, movement might have been about how you looked.
At 40, 50, 60, 70? The definition of “fit” starts to mean something different. 🤍
Strong legs, healthy joints, good balance.
The confidence to move without hesitation, the freedom to keep doing the things you love. Because aging isn’t something we need to fight.
We just want to build bodies that are strong enough to come along for the ride.
Pilates isn’t about trying to look 25 forever. It’s about creating strength, mobility, and confidence that you get to carry with you for decades.
Here’s to getting older, and getting stronger while we’re at it. 🤍
This one is for the girls in their 30s and 40s: don’t be afraid of aging. 🤍
Getting older doesn’t have to mean feeling weaker, stiffer, or less like yourself.
You have so much more control over how you age than you might think, and one of the best things you can do now is build strength, protect your mobility, and keep moving your body consistently.
The Pilates you do today isn’t just about how you look this summer. It’s about being able to travel, play with your kids (and grandkids), get up off the floor with ease, carry your own bags, and keep saying yes to the things you love decades from now.
So instead of fearing the number, focus on what you’re building along the way.
Strong at 40. Strong at 50. Strong at 60. Strong for life. 🤍
One of the biggest shifts from beginner to more experienced Pilates? Learning how to articulate through your spine.
It’s not just about lifting your hips off the carriage. It’s about moving with control, precision, and intention.
Instead of lifting your spine as one solid piece, think about slowly peeling it away from the carriage, one vertebra at a time.
Your pelvis initiates the movement, your lower and mid back follow, and your upper back is the last thing to leave the carriage.
And on the way back down? Reverse it. Slowly, intentionally, one vertebra at a time.
It’s a small detail that can completely change the way an exercise feels, and once you learn to find that articulation, you’ll start noticing it throughout your entire Pilates practice.
Control over momentum. Intention over simply going through the motions. 🤍

I’m not chasing youth, I’m chasing the freedom to keep doing the things I love for as long as I can.
To travel without worrying if my body can keep up.
To carry my own groceries.
To get up off the floor with ease.
To feel strong, capable, and confident every single day.
Growing older is a privilege. How we move through those years is something we have the power to influence.
That’s why I choose to keep moving.
The outfit gets the compliments. The workouts get the credit.
Because when you feel strong, your posture changes. You carry yourself differently. You walk into a room with more confidence, and that has nothing to do with the clothes you’re wearing.
The best accessory will always be feeling good in your own body.
