Did you know that 3-4 times a year, we take the entire studio apart, check every swivel, rope, carabiner, apparatus, and things you didn't even know you need to do aerials safely, and put it all back together again! It's a long day, but it is always fun when your team is this awesome!

Theft update:
I wanted to offer a huge thanks to our whole community - for your empathetic words, for your donations to our fundraiser for our insurance deductible, for your sharp eyes and vigilance helping us find our stuff in nearby pawn shops. We got some great news today -- an APD detective followed up with me, and it is looking very much like we'll be able to get our pawned Fender Passport back, and we can possibly recover the rest of our stolen equipment.

Also, we heard back from our insurance company, and our payout should be coming next week (thanks, Liberty Mutual!). In case we don't recover our stolen items from pawn shops, we should have enough funds to purchase used sound equipment from Rock n Roll Rentals and replace our rigging equipment and be ready for our September LOR show rental and our October student showcase and pro show.

Thank you all for making a stressful and terrible thing feel much less hard. The community love and support we have seen from so many sides has been heartwarming and has filled me with so much gratitude for the amazing folks we surround ourselves with. Thank you thank you thank you.

UPDATE: First of all, WOW! Our community is so amazing; it blows us away every day! Thank you for your incredible support; we reached our goal of covering the insurance deductible and added $600+ to the JEDI fund for the fall semester.

All of that, and we were able to locate one of our missing items at the EZPawn on Airport.

The photos here are of our 2 top-priority missing items, as well as enhanced photos of the suspect.

Welcome to Dynamic Dance Trapeze! We will explore the excitement of spinning and flying on a single-point trapeze. This workshop gives students a sample of what we work on in the Dynamic Dance Trapeze series, and is designed for those who love the thrill of aerial movement and want to experiment with the trapeze in creative ways. Engage in three-dimensional dynamics—spinning, swinging, gliding, and walkovers. We'll use the pulley system to work with upward and downward movements and discover the joy of ground choreography that seamlessly moves on and off the trapeze.

For Advanced trapeze students or with instructor approval.
