The moves I can do now were once the moves I thought I’d never get. The confidence I have now took a lot of uncomfortable, awkward, “what the hell am I doing?” moments. 😂

The most underrated skill in pole dance?

Knowing when NOT to move. 🖤

We’re so used to thinking that good dancing means constantly doing something……another trick, another transition, another big movement.

But sometimes the most powerful moment is the pause.

The breath before the next move.
The stillness after a spin.
Holding eye contact for one extra beat.
Letting the music carry you instead of feeling like you have to chase it.

Stillness creates tension.

And sometimes, doing less makes people watch you MORE.

That’s something I wish more dancers understood:

You don’t have to fill every second with movement to be captivating.
