We are a family owned and operated CrossFit gym focussed on transformation. The training can be modified for fitness enthusiast of all levels.

Our sessions are designed to give you a total body workout through gymnastics, Olympic weight-lifting and metabolic conditioning. If you are a beginner, expert or just want to change up your normal routine then CrossFit is what youโ€™ve been waiting for. Safety and mechanics are taught first, intensity comes soon after.

The scale only tells part of the story. You have to figure out what will work for you.

Over the last 90 days, he:
โœ”๏ธ Lost 4 lbs
โœ”๏ธ Gained 1 lb of muscle
โœ”๏ธ Reduced body fat by 2%
โœ”๏ธ PR'd his bench press, squat, and deadlift

Just as important, his migraines have continued to improve.

One of the biggest changes has been consistency. Even with travel, Matt learned how to adjust his training instead of letting trips derail his progress. He's become much more intentional with his nutrition, focusing on high-protein, nutrient-dense foods and asking himself whether the calories he's eating are actually helping him reach his goals.

Matt recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary by getting bikes with his wife, giving them another way to stay active together.

This is what sustainable progress looks like, you have to build habits you can maintain. Great work over the last 90 days. We're excited to see what comes next.

๐ŸŒŸ SoChac Spotlight: Greg B

Greg was nominated for spotlight because he always shows up to class with a great attitude and eagerness to learn and put in the hard work. His consistency has led to more confidence and noticeable changes in his body composition. We can't wait to see what he accomplishes next! Hereโ€™s a little more about Gregโ€ฆ

1. When and why did you join CrossFit SoChac?

I joined CrossFit SoChac after my fiancรฉe recommended it to me. I was looking for a challenging way to stay fit, and she thought I would enjoy the combination of great coaching, tough workouts, and strong community. She was right.

2. What do you do for work and/or fun outside of the gym?

Outside the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on home projects, and staying active outdoors whenever I can.

3. What is something you would like us to know about you?

I enjoy learning new skills and tackling challenges, whether that's in the gym, at work, or around the house. I'm always looking for opportunities to improve and grow.

4. What is your proudest achievement and/or changes you have noticed?

One achievement I'm especially proud of is recently completing the Murph Challenge. It was a great test of both physical and mental endurance. Beyond that, I've noticed improvements in my overall fitness, energy levels, and recovery. I've also learned that good, clean nutrition is just as important as the workouts when it comes to feeling and performing my best.

5. What advice can you share with someone new looking to join?

Don't worry about being in shape before you start. Just show up and focus on being consistent. Trust the process, listen to the coaches, and pay attention to your nutrition. The workouts are important, but good, clean eating makes a huge difference in your results, recovery, and overall health.

Class Focus: Build upper body strength, stability, and muscular endurance through progressive barbell and gymnastics training.

This 4-week series is designed to improve pressing and pulling strength, increase body weight control, and develop the supporting muscles that carry over to gymnastics movements, Olympic lifts, and overall performance in CrossFit workouts.

Today, Martha hit 3 strict pull-ups in a row and a new PR! ๐ŸŽ‰

What's even more impressive is how long she has worked toward this goal.

During our goal review, Martha shared that she had been doing CrossFit for 6 years but was still working toward her first pull-up. We talked about how much time she realistically had to dedicate to the goal and came up with a plan that fit her schedule.

The plan was simple: complete 3โ€“5 pull-up negatives after class each day.

"6 years in the crucible, but finally got them after putting in an extra 3 minutes after class." - Martha

Too often, athletes want change to happen quickly. When they don't see results right away, they quit, jump to something new, or assume what they're doing isn't working.

Martha chose a different path. She stayed patient, trusted the process, and kept showing up.

And the results weren't just on the rig.

Over the last 90 days, Martha lost weight, reduced body fat, and gained muscle. The progress was happening long before today's pull-up PR, it just took time for all the pieces to come together.

No shortcuts. No secret program. Just consistency, patience, and a willingness to put in a few extra minutes of work.
