She Plays Aurora is going golfing!

Girls can try three main skill areas of golf at the She Plays Aurora Free Sports Trial Day on Friday, July 24 at Aurora Hills Golf Course at no cost.

Spots are free, but registration is required.

Come and play the Aurora Senior Amateur!

This 36-hole stroke play event takes place July 25-26 at Aurora Hills Golf Course. Registration includes green fees, ranges balls, certificates, trophies and Sunday lunch.

Entrants must be 50 or older on the first day of the event.

Aurora's Public Golf Courses "All In" on Reducing Water Use During Historic Drought Conditions

Our golf maintenance teams continue to make difficult operational decisions to conserve water during this historic drought. Players may notice browner roughs and non-play areas—that's intentional. Those changes reflect the team's commitment to using water as efficiently as possible while maintaining safe, playable courses.

In the photo is the area just outside of a fairway at Aurora Hills Golf Course where the water has been completely shut off in response to the need to conserve water.
