YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Quinntin Gillies delivered a standout week for Southern Maine baseball, batting .333 with a .556 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage across two games. Gillies drove in six runs, scored three times, and reached base five times while not striking out in nine plate appearances. His week was highlighted by a walk-off grand slam against Bridgton Academy for a 12-9 win.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Danika Saddoris turned in an great two-way performance for Southern Maine softball in their season-opening sweep of CMCC, making an impact both at the plate and in the circle. Saddoris batted .667, going 6-for-9 with two doubles, three RBI, three runs scored and an .889 slugging percentage across two games. In the circle, she posted a 1-0 record with a 1.56 ERA over 9.0 innings, allowing just two earned runs while striking out seven Mustangs.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Samuel Liduvinaitis had quite the men’s cross country collegiate debut for UMaine Augusta at the Mustang Classic 5K at Lost Valley Ski Resort. The freshman didn’t let the rain and mud slow him down one bit, leaving the rest of the pack behind to take first overall with a blisteringly fast time of 18:43.8, almost a full minute ahead of second place.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Eva Fleurent raced to the win in CMCC women’s cross country’s first action of the season at Central Maine's own host meet, the Mustang Classic 5K at Lost Valley Ski Resort. The sophomore dominated the hilly course on a rainy and muddy Sunday morning, putting up a time of 25:16.5 to win the four YSCC team event by more than three minutes.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Jacoby True carded a strong week for Southern Maine men’s golf with a pair of competitive performances against fields filled with NCAA DIII programs. True highlighted the week by firing a one-over-par 72 at the Husson Invitational, earning a tie for fourth individually while helping the Seawolves finish tied for second in the 12-team field. Earlier in the week, he carded an 81 at the John Queenan Memorial Tournament. True finished the two events with a 76.5 scoring average, highlighted by his top-five performance at Husson.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Brooke Kelly helped NHTI volleyball continue its undefeated start to the season. The sophomore outside and middle hitter had 18 kills across two matches. Kelly had a match-high 21 in a 3-0 victory over Southern Maine. The Nottingham, NH native followed that up two days later with 10 kills against Bunker Hill Community College in another straight sets victory. She also added 19 assists, six aces, 13 digs, and six blocks to her weekly totals, showcasing her all-around game.

YSCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 🏅

Daniel Semple made quite an impression during Central Maine's YSCC matchup against UMaine Augusta. The sophomore forward scored an incredible five goals against the Moose, completing a first-half hat trick before finishing two more chances in the second half. He currently sits tied for the USCAA DII lead in goals (6) and points (14).

Dixie Szabo was a one-woman wrecking crew for the UMaine Augusta in week two. In the Moose’s YSCC opener against Southern Maine, the sophomore forward from China, ME netted four goals, completing a hat trick in only the first ten minutes of the contest.

CMCC Mustangs Eva Fleurent takes the Women’s Cross Country Mustang Classic 5K in 25:16.46!
