🚨 FEDERAL LAWSUIT filed against Merced Union High School District. Sometimes standing up for what is right means standing alone until the community steps in.
As many of you know, my journey as an educator in the Central Valley took a massive turn when I chose to speak up. What started as a push for pay equity in 2023 evolved into an immediate, 30 second termination in 2025 after exercising my right to free speech.
Justice takes time, but the timeline does not lie. After months of preparation and pushing through systemic obstruction, the official federal civil rights lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
This case is about First Amendment retaliation and Fourteenth Amendment due process. It is about ensuring that no educator in the Merced Union High School District is silenced for caring about equity and transparency.
Right now, we are at a critical milestone: formal service of the lawsuit.
I am faced with a choice. I can email a waiver and give them 30 days to respond, or I can have a professional process server deliver these federal documents directly in person to ensure immediate accountability.
This is where I need my community. This is where I need you. I am asking for your encouragement, your insight, and your presence. Drop a comment below.
Should we handle this quietly via email waiver, or do we ensure absolute compliance by serving them face to face in person?

The Central Valley deserves a school system built on transparency, not retaliation. Send some positive energy. The path of accountability is heavy, but your support makes it possible to stand firm.
Thank you for standing with me. Let us bring accountability home.
