It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Doris, a distinguished member of the Georgia Trapshooting Community and Georgia Trapshooting Hall of Fame. Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 86. Details regarding memorial services will be shared as they become available. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Captain Alexis Noel Salvanera passed away on June 16, 2026.
Alexis was an accomplished competitive trapshooter and the beloved daughter of Noel Salvanera, who many of us see coaching the Trinity Christian School Shotgun Team at Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds.
