My husband and I took a drive to the middle of nowhere for this shoot and honestly… it felt like a reset.

No screens. No noise. Just open space and the freedom to create and capture our friend (aka client) exactly as she felt in that moment.

These are the kinds of shoots that stay with you.

So tell me… what vibe are you on today?

Running free in a field
Floating in a cool river
Curled up somewhere quiet
Or full chaos trying to keep up with life 😂

There’s something about candid, real-life photos hanging on your walls that can immediately transport you back to that exact moment. It hits differently than perfectly posed, coordinated pictures ever could.

Many favorite people not shown here - but I’m thinking about you 😘

Don’t forget to be present with the people around you. You might remember the materlistic things you once had, but the one thing that lasts forever in our minds and hearts are the relationships we formed. Stay connected.

Many favorite people are not shown in this video - but know you are on my mind 😘

Alright Chefs, you can only use THREE seasonings for the rest of your cooking life… which 3 are you choosing?

The other night I had a lot on my mind: having discourses with my 18 yr old son, replying to work emails… in my head, thinking about what I forgot to take out for dinner, and half listening to my daughter tell me about her day.

And in that moment I realized… I wasn’t fully anywhere.

Sometimes being a mom, a wife, a full-time educator, a daughter, a sister, a friend and whatever else makes me feel like I’m constantly falling short somewhere. Like no matter what I’m doing, I should be doing something else. Before I know it, I’m overthinking and stressing myself out about everything.

So here’s an affirmation I tell myself when that spiral starts and I’m sharing it here in case someone else needs it too:

“I don’t have to be everywhere at once. I only have to be present here, with whoever’s right in front of me.”

It helps me slow down. It reminds me that showing up imperfectly but fully in one moment matters more than trying to be everything and everywhere all at once.
