Sauna is about more than sweating.

It’s about supporting the systems that help your body recover, adapt, and perform over time.

As your body warms, your heart rate increases and circulation improves. Over the course of a session, your body responds by activating natural processes involved in recovery, cellular resilience, and relaxation.

Research has shown that regular sauna use may support:

- Cardiovascular health

• Recovery after exercise

• Healthy circulation

• Relaxation and stress management

• Long-term wellness

One of the most well-known studies followed more than 2,300 adults over 20 years and found that people who used a traditional sauna more frequently had better long-term cardiovascular outcomes than those who used it less often.

Like most wellness practices, consistency matters.

One session can help you unwind. Making sauna part of your routine is where the greatest long-term benefits are thought to occur.

At FIT9, we view sauna as one piece of a comprehensive approach to longevity, alongside movement, recovery, nutrition, advanced diagnostics, and personalized care.

When most people think about healthy aging, they think about skin, muscles, or metabolism.

But one of the most important systems to support is your vascular system.

Your blood vessels deliver oxygen and nutrients to every organ in your body. They play a vital role in circulation, energy production, brain function, and overall wellness.

That’s why vascular health is an important part of the longevity conversation.

At FIT9, PlaqueX is one of the therapies we may incorporate into a personalized wellness plan to support cardiovascular and vascular wellness. Like every service we offer, it’s never about one treatment, it’s about understanding how your body’s systems work together.

Every longevity strategy begins with the bigger picture: advanced diagnostics, body composition, lifestyle, and personalized care designed around your goals.

Cellular energy is where everything starts.

That’s why NAD has become such an important part of the longevity conversation.

NAD is a naturally occurring molecule found in every cell of the body, where it plays a key role in supporting mitochondrial function and cellular energy production. As we age, NAD levels naturally decline, and researchers continue to study how that may influence overall cellular function.

Think of your mitochondria as the engine of your cells. They help convert nutrients into the energy your body uses every day. NAD helps support that process.

At FIT9, we view mitochondrial health as one piece of a much bigger picture. Nutrition, movement, sleep, recovery, and targeted therapies all work together to support how your body functions over time.

Because longevity isn’t about chasing one solution.

It’s about consistently supporting the systems that keep you moving, recovering, and performing at your best.

Follow along as we continue sharing the science behind cellular health and longevity.

Aging isn’t always a slow, steady process.

Emerging research suggests it may occur in distinct biological phases.

A 2024 Stanford University study published in Nature Aging tracked thousands of biological markers (including proteins, metabolites, lipids, and the microbiome) over time. Researchers observed two periods where many age-related molecular changes appeared to accelerate: around ages 44 and 60.

Around age 44, changes were seen in areas related to lipid metabolism, cardiovascular health, muscle maintenance, and how the body processes alcohol and caffeine.

Around age 60, researchers observed additional shifts involving immune function, carbohydrate metabolism, and kidney-related biomarkers.

While everyone’s biology is unique, these findings reinforce an important idea: many changes begin long before they’re obvious.

That’s why FIT9 takes a proactive, data-driven approach to longevity. By looking at advanced biomarkers, body composition, metabolic health, hormones, and lifestyle together, we can build personalized wellness strategies that evolve with you over time.

Longevity isn’t about reacting to change.

It’s about understanding your biology and supporting your health through every stage of life.

Follow along as we continue sharing the latest research in longevity and personalized wellness.
