Terry didn’t just step into the ring… he gave every piece of himself to it. Through pain, through sacrifice, through decades of unforgettable battles, he showed the world what it means to love this business with everything you have. His spirit was unbreakable, his fire unmatched, and his legacy eternal.

Even now, his influence lives on in every wrestler who dares to push further, fight harder, and give more than they ever thought possible. And for the fans, his memory still stirs something deep—a reminder of a time when wrestling was raw, real, and full of heart.

Terry Funk may be gone, but the soul he poured into this business will never fade.

Forever hardcore. Forever legendary. Rest in peace, Terry.

The Cauliflower Alley Club is proud to announce “Hustler” Rip Rogers as the recipient of the 2026 Ron Hutchison Trainers Award at CAC 60. A veteran of the territory era, Rip Rogers built a career on toughness, conditioning, fundamentals, and an old-school understanding of what makes professional wrestling work. From his years inside the ring to his time in WCW and beyond, Rip earned respect as a performer who knew the business from the ground up.

But his greatest impact may be seen in the generations he helped prepare after his in-ring career.

As a trainer at Ohio Valley Wrestling, Rip Rogers played a major role in developing and sharpening future stars, with his influence seen in the careers of names like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Batista, Bobby Lashley, Mark Henry, The Miz, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and many more.

The Ron Hutchison Trainers Award recognizes those who have dedicated themselves to teaching, developing, and preserving the craft of professional wrestling. Rip Rogers represents that tradition with a career built on knowledge, hard work, and a commitment to making the next generation better.

A proud representative of his Samoan heritage, Siva Afi brought excitement, athleticism, and cultural pride to the squared circle. Whether dazzling fans with his high-flying style or carrying forward a rich wrestling tradition, he left an indelible mark on the sport and those who had the privilege to watch him perform.

We honor his contributions, celebrate his legacy, and send our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and fans around the world.

The CAC sends our heartfelt wishes for a full and speedy recovery to the legendary Jim Ross “Good Ol’ JR.”, as he has revealed he's been in the hospital for the last 22 days.

For decades, JR has been the voice of professional wrestling, bringing passion, credibility, and unforgettable moments to generations of fans around the world. His impact on this industry is immeasurable, and his connection to the Cauliflower Alley Club runs deep.

As everyone knows, the CAC proudly honors excellence in broadcasting each year with the Jim Ross Announcer Award — a tribute to his lasting legacy. This year’s deserving recipient Gary Michael Cappetta, stands as a testament to the standard JR helped set.
