Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon)
A remarkable posture that requires suppleness in the hips, spine, and shoulders, along with control, stability, and abdominal strength. While this pose may look intimidating—and it is certainly challenging—my approach to yoga emphasizes preparation over performance.
Much of our class time will be dedicated to thoughtfully preparing the body. The true benefits come from the effort and awareness you bring to the practice, not from achieving the final shape of the pose. This is where the beauty of intelligent sequencing comes into play.
Appropriate for all levels.
Dates: Wednesdays — May 6, 13, 20, 27
