Note that Nottaritaville is on rain or shine, but the forecast claims we are done with rain for the evening!

Nottaritaville is TONIGHT at 5 p.m.! Unfortunately, the pool itself will be closed (members, see your email for details), but our volunteer social committee is going above and beyond to add co****le, bocce ball, and other games and activities, and our big fans will be running with misters to keep everyone cool. Since we won’t be in swim suits, let’s take the opportunity to show up in our finest tropical attire for a night of live music, good food and drinks, and most of all the company of great neighbors!

We encourage you to come down and help make this a special night for our club!

Greenspace Option for 4114 Chamblee-Tucker Rd property Meeting with DeKalb County District 1 Commissioner - Monday August 31, 2026 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Embry Hills Library.

DeKalb County District 1 Commissioner Robert Patrick will discuss with neighbors the option of the county purchasing the 15 acres at 4114 Chamblee-Tucker Road as greenspace.

4114 Chamblee-Tucker Road is 15 acres of mature forest with hardwoods, vegetation , wildlife and creek (flood plain).
The property is located on Chamblee-Tucker Road between Briarhill Court and Wanda Woods Drive and backs up to Olde DeKalb and Lynnray Drive neighborhoods.

Southern Heritage Homebuilders has proposed to purchase the property and build 66 homes - 48 townhomes (12 lots with 4 townhomes each) and 18 single family and parking area, and club house The builders will remove the trees and vegetation except for a required buffer along both sides of property and build a retention pond. The builders have a contract to purchase the property contingent on a zoning change and annexation into City of Tucker. Property is currently owned by GFACS charter school; lot was sold as part of the former Baptist Church sale. This lot is now in unincorporated DeKalb County.
