Having worked at Yates since the summer of 2025, Ollie has been a hard working and loyal employee for over a year. His passion for Charlie Yates and for the game of golf are evident every day. This week marked our last of summer camp for the 2026 season. It was a great week filled with a lot of fun! Check out this video from one of our camp counselors Lawson of one of the campers going through the obstacle course. The obstacle course teaches many important aspects of the golf swing, including strength, agility, balance, and coordination. It is always a fan favorite at the Charlie Yates camps ⛳️

Can’t seem to dodge the afternoon storms lately ⛈️ ⛳️
It is that time of year! The golf course was aerated yesterday and today. Although it is no golfer’s favorite time of year, aeration is a critical practice to maintain long term grass health. Aeration improves water filtration, alleviates compaction, and encourages root growth, among many other benefits.
The golf course and practice greens will open back up tomorrow, Wednesday July 15th. The driving range remains open today. Please expect recovery conditions through the end of the month. We look forward to seeing everyone at Yates soon ⛳️
