For the past 35 years, I have had the honor and privilege of sharing the gift of DANCE with artists around the world.
Using dance as a vehicle for social, economic, cultural, and spiritual development, I am blessed to continue the work of my mentors and ancestors who paved the way for me.
The road has not always been easy, but it has never disappointed me, nor has it left me without purpose. In this day and age, when everything feels so instant and immediate, I want to remind everyone that the race is not given to the swift, but to those who endure until the end.
Over the past 16 years, I have watched Atlanta grow and develop. I have seen many companies, projects, schools, and artists come and go. Yet one thing remains true: everything must be rooted in a solid foundation, and all things need time to grow.
The Atlanta Dance Connection, Atlanta’s Ambassadors of Dance, shall always remain a source for traditional, foundational training in dance and a repository for young artists. Cultivating artists for the future while upholding the integrity of our dance style shall always be paramount.
