🏈 About Last Night…

Down 21-7 in the 2nd quarter, the WolfPack responded with a much-needed defensive stop and a touchdown, creating an opportunity at halftime to settle down, believe in one another, and make the decision to be the tougher team.

The offensive line set the tone. Amos Robinson delivered some hammering runs and a touchdown. The defense started bringing some pop to their pads. And Landon Ryan put on a show.

The Pack pushed ahead 28-21, showing their heart, their belief, and the trust built through the work.

With 1:01 left, 4th-and-10 and the game tied, overtime appeared to be looming. Coach Walsh thought otherwise.

He left the offense on the field and put the ball in the hands of his senior playmaker. Landon Ryan connected with Luke Linder for a huge gain, then with :09 remaining, Ryan punched it in for his 4th rushing TD and 5th touchdown overall.

A TEAM win built on toughness, belief and trust.

The work continues. The mission remains the same.

Last week, the team opened the season at the Folkes Memorial, highlighted by a Top 5 finish from Lucy Blee. Today, they look to build on that strong start and keep pushing forward.

We are excited to welcome Taylor Watkins as the new head coach of Whitefield Girls Lacrosse!

Coach Watkins is passionate about building a strong foundation for the future of Whitefield girls lacrosse—one rooted in faith, hard work, fundamentals, and a commitment to growth.

“What excites me the most about leading the girls lacrosse program is the ability to build a strong foundation for the future of Whitefield girls lacrosse. We are able to build a culture based on faith, hard work, and fundamentals that will lead to growth for years to come.”

Coach Watkins also shares what drew her to Whitefield and the opportunity to develop the whole student-athlete:

“Whitefield is a supportive and welcoming environment that embraces educating the whole student athlete in their faith, academics, and athletics, which aligns with my coaching philosophy. I can’t wait to get more involved in the Whitefield community!”

We are thrilled to have Coach Watkins leading the way and look forward to watching her build something special with our girls as they enter into their inaugural season as a varsity sport.

Softball season is back! 🥎 Despite plenty of weather interruptions, the 2026 season is already off to an exciting start, including a thrilling walk-off victory at home.

Last night, our Whitefield Academy Boys Soccer State Championship team was recognized by the Mayor of Smyrna and the Smyrna City Council for an unforgettable season. We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent our school, our city, and our community with excellence on and off the field.

Thank you to the City of Smyrna for celebrating this incredible group of student athletes and coaches. Work Hard, Play Hard, Honor Him 🐺🐺🐺

Congratulations to our very own Steve Hellier, named the Georgia Coaches Association Soccer Coach of the Year, and West Peterson, selected as the Assistant Coach of the Year.

Their impact extends far beyond a championship season. The grace, humility, and servant leadership they demonstrated while investing in their student-athletes will leave a legacy that reaches well beyond the championship rings.

Congratulations, Coach Hellier and Coach Peterson, on this well-deserved recognition.
