To the North Georgia Freedom Family,

As the final out was recorded and our last tournament came to an end yesterday, so did an incredible chapter in our lives. While the scoreboard may show that the season is over, the memories, friendships, faith, lessons, and love built through North Georgia Freedom will last forever.

To every NGF players that ever wore our jersey—thank you. Thank you for every early morning, every late-night practice, every bruise, every tear, every laugh, and every ounce of heart you left on the field. You wore the Freedom jersey with pride and represented this organization with grit, determination, and class. We watched you grow not only as athletes but as young women. The wins were exciting, but the character you developed along the way is what truly mattered. We pray God’s will for each and every one of you and the next chapter you are about to step into.

To our parents—there are simply not enough words. Thank you for the countless miles traveled, the weekends spent at ballparks, the hotel stays, the fundraising, the encouragement, the sacrifices, and the unwavering support. You trusted us with your daughters, cheered through every victory, and stood beside them through every disappointment. This team existed because of your dedication.

North Georgia Freedom was always about more than softball. It was about keeping God in the middle of all we do. It was about becoming a family. It was about creating a place where players could chase dreams, build confidence, and make memories that would last a lifetime. Together we celebrated many, many championships, overcame challenges, shared countless laughs, and formed bonds that cannot be measured by wins and losses.

As this team officially retires, we do so with grateful hearts. While the uniforms may be put away and the dugout may grow quiet, the legacy of North Georgia Freedom will live on in every player, parent, coach, and supporter who was part of this journey.

Thank you for believing in this team. Thank you for investing your time, your energy, and your hearts. Thank you for making North Georgia Freedom something special.

This may be the end of a team, but it is not the end of the friendships, memories, and impact we created together.

We celebrate our North Georgia Freedom graduates as they step into the next chapter of their journey. The future is bright, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young women they’ve become on and off the field.

After a rocky start to the day the girls turned it around by game 3 and didn’t let the foot off the gas. They made it to the championship game and then dug deeper and won 11-4. Ending the day 3 & 2! Proud of them! It’s not how you start but how you finish & they finished great today! Great job, NGF!
