Tough day.

I am where I am for a multitude of reasons, starting with circumstances and free will. Circumstances are out of our control. Free will ultimately reveals our true character. After a lifetime of being the girl my society taught me to be, soft, kind, sharing, caring, understanding, empathetic, compassionate I found myself in world where I was used, abused and thrown to the curb. I finally had enough of the lies, the excuses, the gas lighting, the breadcrumbing, the gossip, the backstabbing... Because I never wanted in it to begin with! That was never who I was. It was what and who my people pleasing personality magnetised in, users, and thieves. That's not how I like to interact with the world. I like my softness, compassion, empathy, kindness... I didn't want to associate with anyone who didn't respect me or reflect those same qualities back to me. My lessons didn't come easy to me, and I refuse to accept that God put me here to be a silent victim to whomever felt like taking advantage of my virtues. I decided that I wasn't going to let my perpetrators get away with it that easy. But even more so I wasn't going to let those lessons that almost took me out be made in vain. My Why...
