Last Sunday was the 5th Annual Atlanta Juniors Championship. This one round C Tier is geared toward beginners and seasoned players under the age of eighteen. We had 14 players this year take on Frog Rock Disc Golf Course at Louise Suggs Memorial Park. Congrats to all the winners and best of luck to those on their way to Junior Worlds!!

We are on vacation this week but that doesn’t mean we are stopping. Two events went on sale this week. Atlanta Juniors Championship on 6/28 and 404 Flex @ Hunter Memorial on 7/12. Link in the comments

We had 48 competitors for this year’s edition of the Atlanta Masters Championship. Smaller crowd this year but that is due in large part to so many events going on every weekend in the state. Georgia disc golf scene is still booming.

Huge thanks to all the volunteers and the grounds crew with Douglas County that worked hard getting the course ready. We had fallen trees across a few of the holes that got cleaned up weeks before the event. Also huge thanks to Joel Bryant for moving baskets and doing other odds and ends we needed to get the course in shape.

Thanks also goes out to all the the sponsors that supported this event. I would like to recognize , , Garrett Ceramics, and Workhorse Printery. Their continued support is essential for this event to go on.

Lastly I would like to thank each and every one of the competitors. If you got to stand upon the podium or were denied for another year; you should feel proud you were able to compete. You are a testament to disc golf being a lifetime sport.
